GRE 2011 is the second edition of Gabes robotics event, this edition is organised in conjuction with "INNOTECH 2011".

This event is a technical activities organized by the South-Eastern Trade and Industry Chamber and University parteners from Gabes University.The event includes some technical sessions and tutorials aiming to promote Robotics within Gabes University.

It will focus on the following topics:

• Robots building and prototyping.
• Robotics with industrial applications.
• Robotics for human assistance.
• Intelligent robotics.

Gabes Robotic Event will include the first robotics competition of Gabes. The competition is organized with two tracks:

• Robots for line following.
• Robots for obstacle avoidance.

The competition will also host demonstration session for robotics software and robots for special uses.This event will be held in the Palace Fairs of Gabes-Tunisia.Registration: All participating individuals and teams must register by email:

Participating teams may be formed of a team head and 1 to 3 members. all emails must provide the following information:

• Name of individual or team,
• Affiliation,
• Email, phone number, fax number, and mailing address,
• Name of team head for teams,
• List of members.

All teams must specify the track(s) in which they are participating. They also need to submit their technical paper(s) describing the robot(s).
The registration fee is:

• 50 TND per track for local teams, *
• 50 EURO per track for international teams, **

* Accomodations are free in a youth hosting hotel.
** Including accomodation and limited to 3 persons.
